Central Registration

The Central Registration office provides a one stop registration for all Child & Youth Services (CYS) programs including Child Development Services, School Age Services, Middle School & Teen, Family Child Care, Sports and Fitness, and SKIES Unlimited

Resource & Referral

Information about child care options at other installations is available through CLEOS.  The CLEOS Director will call ahead and determine availability of child care and assist you in placing your child on a waiting list at other installation CYS programs.

Parent Services

CLEOS offers a variety of training programs and resources.  The Parent Participation Program encourages parents to become an active partner in children and youth programs. When parents are involved in the programs it is rewarding for the child and increases the quality of the programs. Through our Parent Participation Program, we strive to help family members improve their understanding skills as parents.  Many activities earn Parent Participation Points which may be used for a 10% discount on child care charges.

Babysitter Training & Referral

Babysitting Training Courses for youth are offered throughout the year.  All babysitters must be 13 - 18 years old and be certified and trained before being added to the Teen Post Babysitter List.  Areas of training include but are not limited to First Aid, CPR, Safety and Health conditions for children.  If your child would like to learn the skills and tasks associated with caring for children and running their own business, please call 873-4599 to sign up for the next training session.  The Teen Post Babysitter List is available at the CLEOS office and the CDS center.

Short Term Alternative Child Care (STACC)

Offers on-site child care for special functions.  Coordination must be made with the CLEOS Director at least 2 weeks prior to the event to discuss procedures for site approval, registration and fees.

Volunteer Services
CYS appreciates the efforts our volunteers make and thanks them for being understanding and adhering to the requirements before working with Army children and youth.  CYS Volunteers must have a Volunteer Agreement Form on file (DD Form 2793), and must successfully complete the background screenings annually (reference AR 608-10, para 2-24) and attend a Child Abuse Course and Special Needs Class (reference AR 608-10, para 3-17).  In addition to these courses, Child & Youth Services requires volunteer coaches to attend the National Youth Sport Coach Association course annually.  Background screenings must be completed by the following: Army Family Advocacy Program/Army Central Registry, Provost Marshal, Criminal Investigation Division and Army Substance Abuse Program.

The Promise Passport Volunteer Program is designed to promote a volunteer spirit and service attitude.  Our goal is to provide young people with the opportunity to serve and become active citizens of the United States .
